About Us
What Is Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery?
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is recommended for a wide range of conditions that affect the mouth, teeth, jaw and facial areas. We see patients who need treatment for everything from dental injuries and tooth infections to wisdom tooth removal and dental implants—as well as more complex procedures like corrective jaw surgery.

What Is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon?
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are dentists who complete at least four years of additional training after dental school in a hospital-based surgical residency program. Training alongside medical residents in general surgery, anesthesia and other specialties, oral surgeons are licensed to evaluate patients for anesthesia, deliver the anesthetic, and monitor patients after surgery.

What Advanced Technologies Do You Use?
Our practice is equipped with some of the most advanced technology in dentistry to make your treatment more successful.
We use digital radiography (digital X-rays), which allows us to take detailed images of your mouth in seconds using a small sensor. Digital X-rays emit significantly less radiation than traditional film and are more environmentally friendly. They can also be enlarged and enhanced, giving us a clearer, more precise view of your oral health so we can create the most effective treatment plan for you.
For patients needing dental implants, we take precision a step further. We use state-of-the-art 3D imaging and the nSequence surgical technique to determine the best placement for implants. This advanced method is more comfortable and efficient for patients, while delivering more predictable, successful results than traditional X-rays alone.
